Cloud System Administrator
Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused Cloud System Administrator to join our team delivering mission critical platforms and capabilities. This role will provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes).
Responsibilities:
- Provide support with day-to-day operations, monitoring and validating accessibility, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud systems.
- Maintain cloud systems and applications to include software updates, security patches and Secure Technical Implementation Guides.
- Optimize system operations, resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
- Support the transfer of enterprise updates across multiple classification levels, enabling low to high file transfers
- Self-motivated and work independently to deliver timely solutions without direct supervision
Here's what you need:
- 2 years of relevant equivalent experience in System Administration
- 2 years of experience with hands on experience with AWS
- 1 year of Linux system administration
- Hands-on experience (or comparable toolsets) with Red Hat Ansible and Satellite.
- Willingness to work onsite (hybrid arrangements are possible with this role)
- Must be a US Citizen
Bonus points if you have:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Knowledge of agile mythologies, basic networking knowledge, and DoD system requirements.
- Knowledge of various applications and tools, such as Elastic, Tenable Security Center and Nessus Manager, Keycloak, Guacamole, Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Hold or willing to attain DoD 8570 IAT Level II
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$90,700 - $130,100 USD
