Solution Architect/ SAFe SME
The work:
Seeking a SAFe Solutions Architect on the Supply Chain Management Product Line DevSecOps and Integration program for evaluating the client business needs and determining how IT can support those needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure. Aligning IT strategy with business goals is paramount, with this position helping to determine, develop, and improve technical solutions in support of client's business goals. The SAFe Solutions Architect bridges communication between IT and business operations to ensure everyone is aligned in developing and implementing technical solutions for business problems. The process requires regular feedback, adjustments, and problem-solving in order to properly design and implement potential solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current architecture and develop target architecture for Health portfolio IT systems. Develop systems roadmap and disposition diagrams
- Develop enterprise system’s architecture for modernizing the systems using cloud-based technologies and agency guidelines (example: Human Centered Design, Zero Trust Architecture etc.)
- Develop architecture artifacts such as operational views (OVs) and systems views (SVs) for complex systems integration using DoD Architecture framework (DODAF).
- Coordinate with partners and technical support teams to develop the interface control documents and to establish systems interface connections
- Determine systems architecture requirements and priorities with the stakeholders and proposes the alternate solutions. Evaluate the alternate solutions to identify the best /right technical solution to solve the existing business problem effectively
- Understand advancing cloud capabilities, IT, and business needs, while identifying and proposing cost and functional efficiency options for the customer’s collaborative decisions and actions
- Architect solutions using application monitoring, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodology to enable automation in building, testing, deployment and maintenance of applications.
- Work in an agile DevSecOps environment, which includes assessment, design, development, re-architecture, enhancement, deployment and operations and maintenance processes and procedures, and which has the goal of continuously improving the cloud program, technical, and operational framework required to deliver and manage cloud migration capabilities effectively and efficiently
- Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with a diverse group of staff members, stakeholders, and customers
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering, or 8 years related experience
- Experienced with architecture artifacts such as operational views (OVs) and systems views (SVs) for complex systems integration using DoD Architecture framework (DODAF).
- Solution architecture experience in cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Experience in developing the solution architecture for high visible enterprise IT systems.
- Experience in developing complex IT systems architecture diagrams with technical, interface details.
- Cloud experience in a solutions delivery, architecting, designing, developing, leading, and delivering cloud infrastructure and cloud application platform technology solutions over the entire lifecycle of large scale, multi-team, complex enterprise projects
- Experience in Core Infrastructure, Application Development, Data and Analytics, and Low Code/No Code
- Able to pass a background check to obtain a Public Trust (Tier 2) Position
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Bonus points if you have:
- Certification in SAFe Solution Architecture
- Previous Federal Government experience

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
