Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support our client in San Antonio, TX or Hanover, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Support tasks that involve engineering development, integration, and interface design analysis, installation, fielding and field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of hardware and software
- Perform system-level design and configuration of network systems, including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications, to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing sponsor networks
- Plan large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and trade and cost studies
- Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, and troubleshoot unique or complex problems
Here’s what you need:
- 8 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- 5 years of experience with Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining WAN architecture using Cisco ISR/ASR routers, ensuring high-availability and secure inter-site connectivity
- Experience managing and administering VMware or vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server, to support virtualized network services and critical infrastructure
- Experience with layer 3 networking, tunneling, and layer 2 VLAN maintenance, configuring and optimizing networking to support scalable solutions, and implementing and monitoring network and security with tools such as Cisco ISE and Nagios
- Knowledge of network protocols such as BGP and OSPF
- Knowledge of RHEL OS or any Linux distro, including identifying management and offline patch management
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, EE, ME, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems Technology or other related technical area of study
Bonus points if you have:
- Ability to plan, implement, verify, and troubleshoot enterprise networks
- Experience supporting National Cyber missions or the Intelligence Community in either offensive or defensive capacities
- Master's degree in CS, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, EE, ME, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Management Information Systems Technology
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Route and Switch Certification
- Security+ or any DoD 8570 IAT or IAM II compliant Certification
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Certification
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
