Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to support our client in the Northern VA area – there are multiple location options. As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of critical IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Manage system configurations
- Ensure optimal performance across a variety of platforms
- Work with Windows, AWS, and RHEL environments leveraging your expertise to maintain system integrity, security, and availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades, monitor performance metrics, and proactively address potential vulnerabilities to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline, or four (4) years of equivalent professional or military experience can be used in lieu of degree requirements
- 2 years of general systems administration experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities
- 2 years of experience performing Windows (preferred) or Linux system administration duties
- 1 year of experience supporting a cloud environment (AWS preferred) to include delivering, securing/managing, and diagnosing/troubleshooting complex issues
- Experience with security protocols and disaster recovery planning
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash Scripting experience
- Microsoft Identity & Access Management Configuration experience
- Familiarity with Group Policy Object Management
- Working knowledge of Certificate/CA/PKI Infrastructure
- AWS Certification Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administration Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
