The Sr Procurement Specialist will provide process improvement recommendations based on industry and domain insights and analysis. In this role, you will assist the agency in modernizing and standardizing IT category management processes, including market analysis, supplier evaluation, and spend optimization, to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of IT services.
Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis:
- Implement a comprehensive market analysis framework in line with agency CM principles.
- Leverage data analytics and market research to identify potential sourcing opportunities.
- Track market trends, assess competitor activity, and evaluate supplier capabilities.

Supplier Evaluation:
- Enhance supplier evaluation and selection processes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of supplier capabilities and performance to ensure alignment with agency requirements.

Spend Optimization:
- Recommend strategies to optimize spend across agency IT.
- Ensure IT services meet business needs while achieving cost efficiency and maintaining high quality.

Process Improvement:
- Provide process improvement recommendations based on industry and domain insights.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement standardized IT category management processes.
Here's what you need:
- 7 years of experience with any of the following: market analysis, cost benefit analysis, alternative analysis, cost estimation, and business analysis
- Must have completed category management, strategic sourcing and procurement training via experience or certification
- Willing to work 100% onsite
- Ability to travel OCONUS as needed
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree
Eligibility Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
- Active Secret security clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
