Position Description:

If so, the Achievement Center of LECOM Health is looking for an HR Assistant – Onboarding Specialist to help us welcome and support the next generation of professionals making a difference in our community. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our hiring and onboarding experience—ensuring every new team member feels informed, prepared, and excited to begin their journey with us. Although the office is at the Achievement Center of LECOM Health, this role helps support the entire LECOM Health Behavioral Health Service line.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact throughout the hiring process, reviewing applications and helping move candidates forward
- Track and monitor each candidate’s progress from application through start date through our ATS system
- Ensure all required pre-employment and onboarding paperwork is complete and accurate
- Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate engaging new hire orientations
- Provide a positive candidate experience
- Assist with coordinating staff training and development activities
- Prepare and distribute employee documentation to partnering school districts and external stakeholders
- Track clearances and maintain data regarding new hire experiences
- Manage the agency's Learning Management System (LMS)
- Provide administrative and operational support to the HR team
- Participate in agency committees and contribute to a culture of collaboration and engagement
- Provide CPR training

- Comfortable using technology and HR systems (e.g., applicant tracking systems, onboarding platforms), with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in human resources, Business management, or other related field
- OR A minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources or a similar administrative role.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience working with an HRIS system preferred

Retirement: 403(b) Savings Plan enrollment with company match up to 6% of your pay after one year of employment.
