
Program Manager, CREOG/GME
The Council on Resident Education in Ob-gyn (CREOG) Program Manager is responsible for the development, management, oversight, and implementation of programming and activities, to include project initiatives, documents, and program planning. Focus on developing objectives and strategies to assess program progress, growth, and business needs. Define and oversee projects needed to reach targeted goals. Network and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Make independent judgments to assess, interpret, and respond to the needs of stakeholders.
Note: This position is considered Hybrid and will need to commute to ACOG's office located in Washington, D.C.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manage CREOG Education and Exam committees to include facilitation of committee member application review and selection and the development and execution of committee deliverables.
• Manage CREOG exam development, execution, data analysis and surveys.
• Administer evaluations and use data to improve future programing and conduct program review work for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Lead CREOG planning meetings, including meetings related to CREOG events such as the CREOG/APGO Annual Meeting, the CREOG Education Retreat, CREOG Program Director School, and CREOG Resident Workshops as well as webinars and trainings hosted by CREOG.
• Assist with event application (app) development as appropriate.
• Create agendas and slides, send out follow-up materials and communications including minutes, updates, and other reports.
• Develop and deliver presentations to internal teams about CREOG-related meetings, webinars, trainings and workshops.
• Ensure CREOG programming is in compliance with organizational goals in collaboration with the appropriate internal departments and other key players to ensure program activities are aligned with broader ACOG policies and procedures.
• Create messaging for internal/external use and ACOG website, to include creation of content for the CREOG webpage, creation of content for CREOG programming promotional materials, such as Rounds, Engage, and social media posts.
• Identify, track, monitor, and communicate program-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise. Escalate issues to leadership and funders as needed.
• Manage activities and ensure quality and accuracy of work outcomes for CREOG programs
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Experience with program evaluation preferred.
• Experience with budget management preferred.
• Strong written and communication skills; experience in editing.
• Knowledge of and experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and website applications. Knowledge of SharePoint and One Drive preferred.
• Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and make independent judgments.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work on fully grant-funded projects.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience required. Experience working with public health and medical associations preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
