We are seeking a dynamic and scientifically driven Senior Product Application Scientist to support the development, positioning, and customer adoption of our growing NULISA Custom Assay portfolio of products.

Description:

We are searching for a Senior Product Application Scientist to support the development, positioning, and customer adoption of our growing NULISA Custom Assay portfolio of products. This is a unique role that works closely with Product Management, R&D, the Field Support Team and directly with Strategic Partners. This role will leverage your scientific expertise specifically in immunoassay development to inform product development, develop internal and customer-facing educational content, provide strategic support for key customer initiatives and broad pre and post-sales customer support. Reporting to the Senior Director of Application Support, you will be the subject matter expert for our growing suite of custom assay products and applications. This is both a strategic and hands-on role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on life science research and early disease diagnosis within a rapidly expanding company.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for Custom Assay products and applications across internal teams and with customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate directly with field support and their customers to understand scientific needs and provide tailored application guidance, troubleshooting, and enhanced training.
  • Pre- and Post-Sales Support: Partner with Sales and Marketing to deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and respond to scientific inquiries.
  • Content Development: Create technical collateral, including application notes, whitepapers, video content and training materials.
  • Product Development Support: Work closely with R&D and Product Management to contribute user feedback, develop test cases, and validate new products and enhancements.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current with scientific trends, customer workflows, and competitor products to inform strategic product decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the scientific community, marketing, customer support, and product development teams.
  • KOL-engagement: Cultivate and manage collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in coordination with sales, marketing and R&D teams.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in molecular biology or related field with experience in immunoassay development.
  • A minimum of 3+ years supporting immunoassay development in a customer facing role.
  • Demonstrated experience in immunoassays and their application
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and influence across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Pragmatic thinker with a clear and effective approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong orientation towards process improvement and unwavering commitment to quality.
  • In-depth understanding of preparing materials for product applications and post-launch support.
  • Prior experience in commercial roles, preferably in the fields of proteomics, NGS, or related life sciences.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse personalities both inside and outside the company.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information with clarity.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%) for customer visits, conferences, and product launches

The salary range for this full time exempt position is $140,000 - $160,000 + bonus + stock options + benefits. Our ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
