As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril Industries is redefining defense technology by delivering advanced, integrated systems to U.S. and allied forces. At the heart of our efforts is Lattice OS, a secure, distributed operating system enabling autonomous decision-making at machine speed across platforms, cloud systems, and tactical networks.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Multinational Digital Infrastructure Senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage complex AWS and Azure cloud environments for multinational defense operations. This hands-on role requires deep technical expertise in multi-cloud architecture, security, and edge-to-cloud integrations supporting sovereign and classified environments across U.S., Australian, and UK missions.
This role offers a chance to design and deploy cutting-edge cloud infrastructure for missions of global importance. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, Multinational Digital Infrastructure, you’ll work with groundbreaking technology, support multinational operations, and drive innovation in secure cloud systems that empower autonomy and mission success across allied nations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Integrate Multinational Clouds: Engineer solutions enabling seamless interoperability between sovereign cloud environments (e.g., IL5/IL6 networks, Australian IRAP-compliant builds) and tactical edge systems.
- Optimize Cloud Infrastructure: Develop automated workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to streamline deployments, scaling, and maintenance.
- Enable Secure Data Flow: Work across classified systems to establish secure edge-to-cloud pipelines for autonomy, mission data, and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate Globally: Support multinational exercises, partner integration events, and global deployments, ensuring systems function across U.S., UK, and Australian defense frameworks.
- Troubleshoot in Real-Time: Resolve complex cloud infrastructure challenges in operational environments, balancing security, uptime, and mission-critical needs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years in cloud engineering, architecture, or systems engineering, with direct expertise in AWS and Azure environments.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in multicloud architecture, secure networking (VPCs, VPNs, hybrid connectivity).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., IL5/IL6, IRAP).
- Working knowledge of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Clearance: Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30%, including international deployments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with sovereign cloud platforms in classified environments.
- Familiarity with Lattice OS or distributed systems used in autonomous operations.
