About the role

The Edge Product Partner Manager will be a key member of Armada's Edge Product team, serving as the technical bridge between our engineering organization and strategic partners. This role requires deep technical expertise to effectively collaborate with both internal and partner engineering teams while driving product-focused partnership initiatives that accelerate our edge computing capabilities.

This position is responsible for developing, nurturing, and executing comprehensive partnership strategies that deliver significant technical and business impact for both partners and Armada. Strategic partnerships span across product development, engineering integration, marketing, go-to-market, and finance functions, requiring a highly cross-functional approach with regular executive and board-level reporting.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical depth, strong analytical capabilities, exceptional relationship-building skills, executive presence, and proven expertise in developing successful product-centric partnerships within enterprise technology environments.

Location. This role is office-based at our Bellevue, Washington office. 

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Execute comprehensive partnership strategies aligned with Armada's edge product roadmap and overall business objectives
  • Drive partnership goal achievement with focus on technical integration milestones and product development outcomes
  • Deliver strategic updates and partnership performance metrics to leadership team and board
  • Develop detailed partnership roadmaps including product integrations, technical deliverables, implementation timelines, strategic priorities, and KPIs focused on customer growth, revenue impact, and product adoption

Technical Partnership Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners' engineering and product teams
  • Serve as primary technical liaison, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering organizations
  • Work directly with partner technical teams to define integration requirements, API specifications, and technical architectures
  • Facilitate technical discussions, proof-of-concepts, and joint development initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise during partner evaluations and integration planning phases

Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with senior leadership at partner organizations
  • Serve as primary business contact while maintaining technical credibility with engineering teams
  • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements including technical terms, intellectual property considerations, and technical deliverables
  • Analyze partnership performance using technical and business metrics to inform strategic decisions
  • Provide regular impact reporting to leadership with focus on technical milestones and business outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Maintain deep understanding of Armada's edge products, technical architecture, ecosystem requirements, and strategic priorities
  • Collaborate closely with Edge Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to provide strategic partners with early access to edge products, technical previews, and integration opportunities
  • Gather and synthesize partner technical feedback to influence product roadmap and engineering priorities
  • Work with legal and finance teams to structure partnership agreements with appropriate technical and business terms

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • 6+ years of experience in technical partner management, product management, or engineering roles within technology companies
  • Proven experience managing complex technical partnerships with focus on product integrations and engineering collaboration
  • Strong technical background with ability to engage effectively with engineering teams on architecture, APIs, and technical requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data for technical and business decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an individual contributor with leadership potential

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with edge computing, cloud infrastructure, or related distributed systems technologies
  • Global partnerships experience with multinational technology companies
  • Background in high-growth technology companies or startup environments
  • Experience in both technical and business development roles
  • Strong understanding of technology industry trends, particularly in edge computing and infrastructure

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S. Based candidates: To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications.  In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).

Compensation

$128,000 - $160,000 USD
