Awetomaton is seeking a Senior AI / ML Engineer to grow our first onsite presence with existing customers in Beavercreek, OH. In this role you will use your OPIR domain expertise to identify salient features for development of new AI/ML models. You will use Python and appropriate AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) to develop and mature R&D exploitation capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a MS degree or higher in AI / ML field with 7-12 years of professional experience.
This position will be performed largely onsite in Beavercreek, OH. Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required.

Required Experience and Skills
Master of Science in AI/ML scientific discipline
Seven (7) years of minimum experience developing AI/ML algorithms for object identification / classification
Seven (7) years of experience creating AI/ML solutions in Python (e.g. PyTorch, Tensor Flow)
Three (3) years of minimum experience with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.)
Mastery of software configuration management using Git.
Desired Education and Experience
Doctor of Philosophy in AI/ML scientific discipline
Five (5) years of minimum experience in OPIR among of a mix of processing, exploitation, and analysis algorithm development
Five (5) years of PyTorch expertise
Expertise developing modular, reusable software via strong Object-Oriented Software development practices
Experience following GitFlow and GitOps workflows using team repository (GitHub / Gitlab / etc.)
