More about the role:

As a Paid Media Manager, you are the fuel behind our clients' digital growth. You don't just launch campaigns - you refine, optimise, and scale them until they deliver. You know every ad unit, every targeting option, every platform quirk. And you use that expertise to review work, guide your team, and push performance further.

But you're not just looking at today's platforms. You're scanning the horizon for what's next - assessing new channels, testing emerging environments, and helping Axicom stay ahead of the curve.

You'll report to our Account Director, Digital Services, while working closely with and mentoring an Account Executive. Together, you'll ensure our paid media output is precise, optimised, and always evolving.

What you'll do:

  • The Platform Expert:You know the platforms inside out - ad units, targeting capabilities, campaign structures, optimisation levers. LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Ads Manager are your home turf, and you're confident across TikTok, Reddit, X, Google Ads, Display, and Programmatic. You'll review and approve campaign builds from the AE, ensuring quality and strategic alignment, while leading on optimisation recommendations based on performance data.
  • The Horizon Scanner:You don't just master what exists - you hunt for what's next. You're constantly scanning for new channels and environments suitable for our clients, assessing their positioning, capabilities, and value. You bring opportunities to the table and help the team decide what's worth testing.
  • The Optimisation Obsessive:You never set and forget. You monitor, test, tweak, and improve - constantly. You analyse performance data, troubleshoot tracking issues, and turn the AE's findings into actionable recommendations. You report with clarity and always come with insights, not just numbers.
  • The AI Adopter:You embrace AI as your daily co-pilot. Whether it's using native platform tools (Advantage+, Performance Max) or leveraging AI for reporting, optimisation, and admin, you stay ahead of the curve and bring efficiency to everything you do.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Paid Social Mastery:This is non-negotiable. You have deep, hands-on expertise in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Ads Manager, with proven experience planning, executing, and optimising campaigns.
  • Cross-Channel Fluency:Experience across TikTok, Reddit, X, Google Ads (Search & Display), and Programmatic is highly desirable. You understand how different channels work together.
  • Campaign-Level Commercial Awareness:You understand budgets, pacing, and ROI at the campaign level. You manage spend carefully and flag risks early. Broader agency commercial knowledge is a bonus.
  • Data & Analytics:You are comfortable with Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and reporting tools. You can troubleshoot tracking, build reports, and extract actionable insights.
  • AI Literacy:You have practical experience using AI - both native platform tools and day-to-day productivity tools - to drive efficiency and performance.
  • Agency Experience:You have worked in an agency environment and understand the pace, the client dynamics, and the importance of delivering results on time and on budget.
