Senior Commission Analyst

The Senior Commission Analyst is responsible for supporting the payroll department in administering day-to-day commission compensation operations such as data processing between various system applications to calculate commissions, reporting, auditing, etc. This position will also support the payroll department in processing employee data changes (i.e., promotions, transfers, etc.), employee self-service (i.e., direct deposits, pay and tax statements), transmission of data to third party vendors, and providing quality customer service to internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following:
Commission Compensation:
- Assist in administration of commission compensation plans ensuring accurate payments to participants for the company’s Production lines of business including, Investment Sales and Mortgage Banking.
- Responsible for new hire data entry into ADP for commission eligible personnel.
- Assign compensation plan IDs for new hires and employee changes in HRIS (Workday) & Commission Compensation system (PeopleSoft-HR).
- Maintain and audit certain data fields in Workday related to commission eligible employees and support staff to ensure employee data properly interfaces to Commission Compensation system.
- Process data integrations, inbound and outbound, from compensation system. Review warnings and error logs and ensure accurate posting of data.
- Responsible for manual data entry into PeopleSoft-HR for ad hoc payments such as expense reimbursements, admin fees, deferred bonuses, etc.
- Import pay data files into ADP from the Commission Compensation system.
- Review and verification of payroll processing for all U.S. employees, specifically regarding commission and bonus compensation.
- Enter tax withholding adjustments on supplemental earnings for recurring commission payments.
- Download and issue electronic copies of pay statements to non-active employees as needed.
- Support the Corporate Accounting department by providing monthly commission accrual data.
- Assist with developing and supporting the Commission Compensation Database. Assist with identifying system issues, testing and issue resolution when needed. Support other members of Payroll team with all database upgrades; complete documentation and testing of the current and new functionality.
- Support leadership with processing all Production related bonus calculations on a semi-annual and annual basis within the commission compensation system. Assist with tracking approvals and reconciling all individual bonus payments from PeopleSoft-HR to ADP for payment.
- Support year-end 1099 process of remitting appropriate information returns to IRS and individual states.
- Respond to employee inquiries about commission and/or bonus payments, as necessary.
Secondary Responsibilities include the following:
Payroll:
- Create and distribute required reports – Such reports include compensation reports and all ad hoc reporting as requested.
- Support other related departments – Accounting/Finance with respect to commission accruals and payments, and the People Team with respect to employee payroll and compensation data, policy/procedures, etc.
- Function as a customer service representative to all employees; former, active, and prospective.
- Other payroll related duties as assigned.

Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the experience required.
- Microsoft Office experience required. Experience with Excel & Teams required.
- ADP Workforce Now, PeopleSoft-HR, Workday HCM & Salesforce experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, presenting, within groups, telephone) and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Always maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Works well in a fast-paced and growth-driven environment.
- Ability to work individually and in teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Three to five years prior experience in a similar position
