Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Channel Sales Account Manager (ICAM) to join our growing Canadian team. In this role, you will work closely with our partners and clients to drive net new product growth, support sales operations, and build strategic relationships. You’ll serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, managing full sales cycles and ensuring successful execution of business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate daily with partners to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Proactively follow up on opportunities to support new product growth.
- Operate within a matrixed reporting structure, working closely with Global Alliances, Global Sales Operations, and other customer business units.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of client product portfolios, competitive positioning, digital tools, partner programs, and workflows.
- Identify, engage, and develop new client accounts and channel partners.
- Drive demand generation efforts and execute go-to-market plans, including participation in partner and client events.
- Partner with client sales and technical teams to nurture opportunities aligned with defined engagement models and global alliance goals.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and reporting in alignment with targets.
- Lead and coordinate sales activities across the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification through to technical validation, negotiation, and final order fulfillment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven success in a technical pre-sales, channel sales, or business development role.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills at both seller and management levels.
- Strong passion for open-source technologies and innovative solutions.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt, supported by continuous development through Red Hat training or similar programs.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently.
- Skilled in facilitating clear communication between partner organizations and internal stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce and Tableau.
