Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with extensive experience in Microsoft infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise IT transformation. This is a hands-on role for a senior-level technical professional responsible for delivering complex IT and infrastructure projects for clients. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of proven experience with Microsoft technologies, hybrid environments, and project delivery in enterprise settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute infrastructure projects from design through deployment, including:
- Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and hybrid identity solutions
- Exchange Server and Exchange Online migrations
- Windows Server upgrades and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
- File server to cloud migrations (OneDrive, Egnyte, Box, etc.)
- Security integrations (SSO, MFA, IAM) with providers such as Centrify, Okta, etc.
- Perform Enterprise Network Installations
- Partner with Project Managers to plan, track, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide end-user training and technical documentation, including runbooks, diagrams, and configuration guides.
- Manage and report on timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain Coretelligent’s documentation standards for configuration and end-user guides.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure and service delivery.
- Expert-level knowledge of:
- Electronic Messaging - Microsoft Exchange (2010–2019), Exchange Online, Mimecast, ProofPoint
- Entra ID, Intune, AD FS, SSO, IAM
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO
- Windows Server, Windows 10/11
- Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Enterprise Networking - Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco), Switches (Meraki, Aruba, Unifi) and wireless (Aerohive, Meraki, Ubiquiti)
- Remote Desktop (AVD, MS RDS, Citrix)
- Cloud services (O365, Egnyte, Box, Dropbox, Centrify/iDaptive)
- Storage (HPE Nimble, DellEMC, Synology)
- Backup (Veeam, Zerto)
- Experience with migration tools such as ShareGate, BitTitan, MoveBot
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and security best practices.
- Proficiency with PowerShell for administration and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Salary Range for this position (depending upon experience):
$130,000 -140,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hires across all US locations (with the exception of MA, NY, and CA). Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, work location, and relevant education or training.
