We are looking for a Sr Enterprise Sales Representative based Remote in Japan. You will be selling our award winning NoSQL database driving strategic enterprise opportunities, selling the value of our product and services offering to multiple industries.
- Passionate about achieving goals and values teamwork
- Identifies and acquires new and existing business to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual booking goals
- Possesses insight and contacts in specific industries and can make proposals as a thought leader
- Can demonstrate ownership as an account leader and lead the account team
- Sells complete solutions of software, services and support to ensure customer success
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver webinars and participate in tradeshows and industry events
SKILLS:
- Previous track record of exceeding annual ACV New by 1 million or more, or overachieving for 2+ years
- Approximately 3+ years of experience selling enterprise technology and managing complex key accounts
- Ability to create account plans and sell using sales methodologies such as MEDDIC
- Ability to make recommendations that align with the customer's long-term goals
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to demonstrate the value of the Couchbase platform to customers and prospects
- Experience selling SaaS or a demonstrable understanding of hyperscalers/service offerings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a great team player
- Self-motivated, independent, high-achiever with strong learning ability and the ability to ramp up quickly
- Advanced level of English and native level of Japanese
- Experience selling to database or developer audiences is a plus
