Overview: Join our team as an RF Validation Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of RF specifications and system in package (SiP) solutions. Focus on validating key RF parameters like TX power, receiver sensitivity, and TX EVM, utilizing your expertise in automation scripting and spectrum analysis. This position is an opportunity to directly contribute to the quality and excellence of our Wi-Fi SiP technologies, leveraging your skills to enhance product performance and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Validate RF specifications, including TX power, receiver sensitivity, and TX EVM, to ensure compliance with design objectives.
- Develop and utilize Python scripts for automating RF validation processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform validation and testing of Wi-Fi SiP solutions, ensuring robust performance across various scenarios.
- Utilize spectrum analyzers effectively to conduct detailed RF measurements and analyses.
- Operate and analyze test results with Wi-Fi and cellular callboxes to validate RF functionality.
- Correlate RF measurements with design files by understanding schematics and PCB layouts, identifying discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python for developing and executing automation scripts in RF testing contexts.
- Hands-on experience in RF validation, particularly focused on TX power, receiver sensitivity, and TX EVM.
- Familiarity with operating spectrum analyzers and callboxes for RF analysis and validation.
- Experience in interpreting and correlating RF measurement data with schematic and PCB design files.
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi and cellular RF technologies, particularly in the context of system in package (SiP) solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced understanding of Wi-Fi and cellular callbox testing methodologies for comprehensive RF validation.
- Experience in developing extensive automation frameworks using Python for complex RF test scenarios.
- Proficiency in advanced spectrum analyzer techniques and interpretation of intricate RF test results.
- Background in working with diverse RF technologies and cross-functional engineering teams to enhance validation processes.
