  • Utilize and manage test capabilities at regional labs and partner third-party labs to execute detailed validation protocols.
  • Own the creation and analysis of test coverage reports and produce comprehensive outcomes and debug finding reports.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for traceability and future reference, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform bench validation and characterization at PCBA and FATP levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to address product issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze validation data and failure modes to provide actionable insights and recommendations for product improvements.
  • Support sustaining engineering efforts from post-launch validation through to end-of-life product support.
  • Travel within the region as needed to oversee validation activities and cultivate strong working relationships with partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product validation, quality engineering, or sustaining engineering roles, notably within consumer electronics or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin for effective communication with internal teams and regional partners.
  • Strong understanding of validation methodologies, test planning, and failure analysis techniques.
  • Proven experience working closely with Contract Manufacturers and third-party test labs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of complex test results.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region to oversee validation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sustaining engineering or product support roles specifically within mechanical or electrical engineering domains.
  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and product lifecycle management processes.
  • Knowledge of test equipment and specialized validation tools used in mechanical engineering validation.
