Job Description:

The Applied AI Engineering team at DevRev is responsible for architecting and building solutions that deliver the optimal experience for our customers. As customers progress through their DevRev journey, they may require complex integrations with enterprise systems, workflow automation, or custom enhancements to the platform.

As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of high-impact AI-driven solutions, integrations, and automations. You will collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless, robust, and scalable solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical strategy.

Objectives:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrations, automations, and customizations across DevRev and customers’ workflows.
• Utilize advanced AI techniques, including Generative AI, prompt engineering, and semantic search fine-tuning to solve complex customer problems.
• Conduct sophisticated data analysis, write advanced SQL queries, and create dashboards to drive strategic decisions.
• Proactively manage communication and feedback loops with all stakeholders, including customers, engineering, product, and customer success teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
• Explore and adopt new technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities and customer solutions.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive hands-on coding experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, Webhooks, and SQL.
• Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vector databases, and data embeddings.
  
  
• Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and customer-focused solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Passion for solving challenging problems and driving high-impact solutions.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Golang, NodeJS, or other backend technologies.Prior experience in customer-facing solution engineering or consulting.
