Account Executive (Eastern US)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an action-oriented Account Executive (AE) in the Eastern US to lead our revenue growth efforts. Our product is a hardware+software platform that is driving the digital transformation of the construction industry through automated layout. With strong market traction, we are looking for an AE with an insatiable curiosity to uncover what drives customer decisions, challenge customers to transform their business, secure new accounts, and significantly grow our revenue base. You will report directly to our Manager of Sales.

In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets. You’ll use your passion for learning and interest in, or knowledge of, the construction industry to craft strategies for closing deals and advancing through decision-maker hierarchies. You don’t just go along with the status quo—you challenge assumptions, offer new perspectives, and aren’t afraid to push both customers and internal teams to think differently, driving success through a willingness to challenge and innovate. As a teammate, you will also collaborate with the whole sales team on how to replicate success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Win: enable our sales team to meet our targets by running an efficient full-stack sales process, from source to close.
  • Identify & Engage: Target construction professionals to promote Dusty Robotics' technology solutions.
  • Tailor & Solve: Leverage your innate curiosity and consultative approach to deeply understand customer pain points, enabling you to craft tailored, value-driven solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Present & Demonstrate: Deliver presentations and conduct product demos to showcase the value and benefits of our cutting-edge technology, including traveling to customer locations when necessary.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with potential customers by deeply understanding their business challenges and goals, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate & Drive Success: Work closely with sales, marketing, customer success and product development teams to challenge conventional approaches and ensure a seamless and transformative customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Account Executive with 6+ years of progressive growth and a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
    • OR 3+ years of sales experience and a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas with a solid background in construction
  • 'Startup adaptable', you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute to the team's evolving strategies
  • Action-oriented, thrives on taking initiative, making things happen, and has a passion for learning
  • Experience selling a product with a physical component (e.g., hardware, real estate, or within the built environment)
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and excel in a fully remote role.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to think like a business owner, grasp market dynamics and communicate effectively with senior leadership, including C-suite executives
  • Familiarity with the construction industry is preferred but not required. Candidates with personal or professional exposure to construction challenges are encouraged to apply

This is a remote role based on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will excel at self-motivation and working independently while staying connected with a collaborative team environment.
