Overview 

Jack Morton is looking for Production Resource Manager who will act as a crucial support role to the Resourcing and Production Teams. 

The role will primarily be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and resourcing qualified freelance production talent across a variety of levels and managing the day-to-day resourcing tasks to fulfill staffing requests in partnership with our Senior Production Resource Manager. 

We are looking for an organized, thoughtful and collaborative teammate who understands the event production world and the skills and variety of roles required to put on the best-in-class experiences that Jack is known for. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Work through our production resourcing requests in collaboration with our Senior Production Resource Manager. 
  • Supporting our Senior Production Resource Manager with freelancer outreach and sourcing of wide range of top-tier Production talent including but not limited to Stage Managers, Executive Producers, Logistics Managers, Production Coordinators, Content Producers, Creative Producers, Print/Graphics Producers, Line Producers, etc. 
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates through networking, referrals, online platforms, and industry events.  
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit. 
  • Partner with Senior Resource Manager and Production leads to  ensure the right freelance talent is identified and engaged when new freelancers are needed to be brought in and onboarded – balancing availability, skill set and timelines. 
  • Understanding freelancer capacity across our talent network to optimize staffing decisions 
  • Understand our permalancer and regular freelancers’ skills and profiles, maintaining good communications and relationships. 
  • Managing our Production database of freelance talent.  
  • Assisting with resource set-ups, team administration and contracting as needed. 
  • Champion the Resourcing Team’s process and be an active participant in refining our practices to stay agile and adaptable. 

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help if… 

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in production, operations, or resource management in experiential, integrated and event production.  
  • Ideally comes to the table with relevant production contacts 
  • Experience with vetting resumes and conducting screening interviews to assess fit and function for all assigned roles. 
  • A deep understanding of how production teams are structured 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, project management tools and competence in learning new online tools. 
  • A great communicator who is able to get their ideas across while also gracefully taking feedback and applying it. 
  • Things move pretty fast here at Jack - so staying organized and being able to manage and fulfill multiple requests at once is critical. 

Salary Range: $45 - $55/hour. Where an individual falls within this range is based on qualifications and level of experience.
