POSITION SUMMARY:

EarnIn is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Office of the CEO.  This individual will play a critical role in supporting the management, execution, and continuous improvement of EarnIn’s “rhythm of the business” — the fusion of goals, strategic planning, operational planning, and financial planning — ensuring alignment across all functions. This position requires a highly organized and results-oriented individual who can work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

This role presents a unique opportunity for the candidate who is excited about getting broad visibility into every aspect of a profitable, scaling startup.  It is ideal for a “generalist” who likes to tackle complex business problems and who is eager to develop business operations from the ground-up.  This individual will work closely with senior leaders at EarnIn and will report to the Chief of Staff / Sr. Director of Strategy.  

This position is open to hybrid applicants based in the Bay Area. This role will require in-office work 2-3 days a week in our Mountain View Office. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,700 - $179,300 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage and streamline EarnIn’s strategic planning and goal setting processes; support EarnIn’s headcount and investment allocation processes in coordination with the Finance and People teams
  • Support the Leadership Team’s operating cadence — maintain a regular cadence of business reviews, meetings, and reporting to ensure alignment and progress; optimize these forums for scale and efficiency
  • Support company-wide All Hands meetings and Board meetings — including cross-functional coordination, crafting communications, and content creation
  • Build a BizOps “center of excellence”– develop tools and resources for employees to support strategic planning; build out program management, goal-setting, business reporting, and other best practices
  • Program manage high-priority, cross-functional initiatives; define and track deliverables and timelines
  • Regularly and proactively partner with key stakeholders across Product, Finance, Marketing, Legal, People and other functions to assist in addressing issues, driving alignment, and quickly advancing priorities

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 6+ years experience in management consulting, strategy, or business operations at a fast-growing company
  • Experience with building and/or running goal planning, budgeting, and reporting processes (e.g., OKRs)
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Program / project management experience, with an eye towards building scalable processes
  • Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure complex problems
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new subjects quickly
  • Startup experience and enthusiasm for FinTech preferred
  • BS/BA required
