Contract (potential hire) Opportunity: Analytical Chemistry Research Associate
We’re seeking a contractor to support our R&D team with protein and food science analytical work. This role is onsite in Alameda and requires a minimum of 20 hours/week, with potential for up to 40 hours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting protein extraction, purification, and analytical testing (e.g., SDS-PAGE, protein content, fluorescence assays)
- Performing food science assessments such as texture, viscosity, rheology, and emulsion stability
- Preparing product batches and evaluating quality using analytical and sensory methods
- Applying basic statistical methods to analyze and clearly present experimental data
- Maintaining detailed and organized records of lab procedures and findings
Who you are:
