Eliot is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary ACCS (Adult Community Clinical Services) team. Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings. This position will work with the Team to address and improve the lives and function of adults that have serious and persistent mental illness. Our ideal candidate will be curious and engaging, helping clients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe and evaluation clients to assist with identifying functional goals and interventions
  • Support staff in addressing the evolving needs of clients, and providing daily interventions
  • Offer training, input and guidance to the Team that promotes client independence   
  • Observe and evaluate clients to identify conditions and needs, collaborating with the team to determine effective actions
  • Serve as a resource to educate clients, their families, and other supports about the client’s condition and needs
  • Facilitate communication within the team and with external supports, including medical services, psychiatric services, care coordination entities, family members, and other involved providers
  • Participate in assessments and treatment plan development

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with adults with mental illness
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license 
  • Must possess a current OTR/L license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00pm-4:00pm

Annual Salary

$69,680 - $69,680 USD
