Senior Technical Coordinator

Royal Eden Docks

The Role

Are you a driven Senior Technical Coordinator ready for your next big step — or already operating at senior level, looking for a fresh challenge on a standout London project?

Mount Anvil is seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to join our team at Royal Eden Docks, where we’re delivering one of the capital’s most exciting residential developments, just moments from Canary Wharf.

As we deliver Phase 3 of Royal Eden Docks — with an immediate focus on Cores 7 & 8 (139 and 74 units respectively). This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, and we’re looking for someone who’s confident driving CML and handover packages, leading internal and / or external coordination, and taking ownership of design meetings and programme performance.

You’ll bring solid technical coordination experience on large-scale residential schemes, ideally with RC frame delivery on site. Whether you’re already in a senior role your background should have seen at least one project through to CML and handover, and be confident leading consultant coordination, chairing design meetings and keeping packages moving to hit programme dates. You’ll know how to manage both internal fit-out and external envelope packages, and how to bring the right people together to resolve issues efficiently. Clear communication, collaboration and accountability come naturally to you, and you’ll thrive in a team that challenges and supports each other. Experience with a developer or tier 1 main contractor is a strong advantage – and while end-to-end delivery is a nice-to-have, it’s your mindset and ability to deliver that count most.

Expect to be self-motivated and comfortable being held accountable, with the confidence to steer the programme while working closely with build, commercial and site management teams along with our external stakeholders. We’ve already set a high benchmark at Royal Eden Docks – Phase 1 delivered exceptional quality, and Phase 2 is complete with standout amenities like a spa, rooftop running track and pool. Now, we’re looking for someone to help raise that bar even further.

Mount Anvil

What we do: We’ve worked in partnership for 31 years to create outstanding places in London. We’re growing, with our construction turnover doubling, and with a pipeline of new projects where we’re raring to get started and make a difference.

Why we’re here: We’re here to pursue better, differently.

Better: One of The Sunday Times’ “100 Best Small Companies to Work For” for over a decade, winner of multiple Pride In The Job and WhatHouse awards for our people and the quality of our homes, and proud to have the nation’s best site in our ranks (winning the highest possible marks across the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s five areas – the first site ever to do so in 22 years of the CCS).

Differently:  Our culture is unusual. Different means more transparent with information. More direct with feedback that helps us all grow. More rigorous about setting goals, then giving more freedom to go and achieve them. It’s definitely not for everyone. We don’t hire know-it-alls, we hire “learn-it-alls”.  As our CEO, Killian, says: “We work hard to find people who thrive on context and responsibility, rather than rules and procedures. We then work like owner managers, not a leader and a load of helpers.

Benefits:

Private medical insurance for you and your family through Vitality (including discounts on spa breaks, cinema tickets and your food shopping, free Starbucks, 50% off Virgin Active Membership and more).

Income Protection Insurance to help you cope financially if you’re unable to work due to illness or injury, Life Assurance equivalent to four times your salary, your annual leave & Bank Holidays, enhanced maternity and paternity leave and workplace nursery salary sacrifice, allowing you to save tax and NI on monthly nursery fees.

We think the best benefit of being here is the learning culture and the ability to make a real difference – we dislike hierarchy and politics, and “not my job” isn’t in our vernacular. Which means if you really care about raising the bar and really want to feel connected to the end product, as opposed to like a cog in a big machine, this could be the place for you to grow your career.
