About the Position
We are looking for an infusion nurse, distinguished by their compassion, curiosity, and desire to learn and grow. This role will include clinical administration and oversight of ketamine infusions as well as patient relationship development and care coordination. This person will help craft and administer an evolving care model for a cutting edge, high impact mental healthcare solution. This is a full time, Monday - Friday role with no on call or weekend hours.
Credentials
Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in New York State is required.
Responsibilities
In-Office Clinical Care
- Administer infusions to patients in accordance with Ember Health clinical protocols.
- Monitor patients during the infusion process, with appropriation intervention or escalation given adverse events.
- Engage in therapeutic communications to ensure psychological safety for patients throughout their session.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and efficacy data.
- Manage a highly-organized, safe, and clean work area.
- Develop trusting, long-term relationships with patients.
Patient Care Navigation
- Monitoring of patient data from regularly administered PHQ-9 surveys.
- Coordination of regular communications among patients, mental healthcare providers (therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians), and Ember Health’s medical team.
- Lead weekly panel management reviews with the Clinical Director to align on care coordination priorities and treatment recommendations, and ensure clear next steps across patients, provider partners, and the team.
- Long term relationship development with patients, including capture and synthesis of feedback about their care at Ember Health.
- Leverage multiple tech platforms to manage workflows efficiently.

Experience
- Highly adept at placing IVs, trained and experienced in cardio-respiratory monitoring, and comfortable monitoring patients during procedural sedation
- Professional experience and comfort with therapeutic patient communications
- Experience in mental health desired, with a working knowledge of depression

Compensation
- Starting Base Salary: $105,000 annually, with annual opportunities for compensation increases
- 401K guaranteed employer contributions: 3%-10% on top of annual salary

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, in-person opportunity based in one of our NYC clinics, with some travel expected across the NYC Metro Area to support our other clinics as needed.
