About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to lead our seller success initiatives while enhancing the collector experience across the platform. This role manages and grows relationships with top-tier sellers, using strategic and data-driven insights to optimize performance and drive revenue and engagement on Fanatics Live.

The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management with analytical rigor to enhance both seller outcomes and overall marketplace performance, ensuring collectors have a trusted, engaging, and best-in-class experience on our platform.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing relationships with our highest-performing sellers and high-potential new accounts. Additionally, you will leverage strategic planning and performance analytics to drive new business development, successfully onboard high-value strategic partners, and scale community-building initiatives.

This role also involves collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and trust & safety, to deliver exceptional results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with the top sellers on the platform educating them on best practices, tools, and strategies to help scale and grow their businesses.
  • Drive new business development initiatives, identifying and executing strategies to onboard high-value sellers and strategic partners.
  • Oversee seller activations and foster community-building efforts to enhance engagement and loyalty.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and trust & safety teams to support seller success and platform enhancements.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for key seller relationships, ensuring their needs are met and challenges are addressed promptly.
  • Leverage seller-level performance data (e.g., hours streamed, categories sold, programming mix, break formats, pricing strategy) to identify growth opportunities and build action plans that expand individual seller performance.
  • Analyze category and market-level trends across various areas (e.g., Football, Basketball, our internal “Instant Rips” product) to develop data-informed strategies that drive GMV growth, engagement, and overall marketplace expansion.
  • Represent the Commercial team in high-level strategy discussions and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Develop deep expertise in the Fanatics Live product ecosystem, including the app experience, seller-facing backend tools, and support resources, to confidently guide sellers, drive feature adoption, and surface actionable feedback to product/engineering teams that informs ongoing product enhancements.
  • Inform in-app programming and placement strategy, including homepage, carousel, and banner features, to align seller visibility with performance and marketplace goals.

 

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in account management, client success, or related roles, with a focus on e-commerce or retail.
  • Proven experience managing high-value accounts and driving significant business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving new business development.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, e-commerce trends, and live shopping dynamics.
  • Passion for the hobby, including breaking and collectibles, is a significant advantage.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise with CRM systems, such as HubSpot, and advanced analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data sets, generate actionable insights, and translate findings into strategic recommendations for sellers.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets required, including building structured analyses and clear data-driven storytelling.

$123,050 - $154,100 USD

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.  This salary range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.  When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training. $107,500 - $141,000 USD
