Assistant Social Media Manager

We are searching for an Assistant Social Media Manager based in Shanghai, to contribute on driving substantial growth for Fender China social media and rejuvenating the player community with key stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Fender China editorial calendar planning and execution overseeing:
- Partner with Product, Creative, Artist and other Marketing function to develop monthly content calendar for all social media platforms.
- Review all scheduled channel posts for accuracy, grammar, voice/tone and relevancy prior to posting.
- Lead creation of and distribute weekly reports measuring and analyzing campaign metrics with the goal of adjusting tactics to optimize growth, engagement and overall performance, leverage insight to identify opportunities for improvement and rationale for execution of campaign
- Influencers Management:
- Work with the annual budget set by leader for each campaign and develop effective influencer plan.
- Responsible for influencer sample inventory, include but not limited to application, delivery and maintaining.
- Develop and own relationship with top tier influencers.
- Agency and Partner Management:
- Manage day to day relationships with key social media vendors and channel partners including Weibo, Wechat, Bilibili, Douyin, Red.
- Directly manage social agency for social daily execution and campaign social execution.
- Keep in touch with global social team in a regular basis.
- Data Analysis and Report Generation:
- Lead the creation of analytics reporting and social listening to create insights reports ensuring that the brand has a constant pulse on fans’ feedback.
- Stay current on what’s trending in Chinese social media and provide strategic POVs and recommendations to the marketing team, Fender Hollywood team and sales teams Monthly
- Lead the creation of recap report of social media and influencers for each marketing campaign
- Community Building and Engaging
- Responsible for the further development of Fender community in China.
- Partner with Ecom team to drive traffic and grow and retain our fan base.
- Work closely with vendor and Ecom’s customer services to monitor and make strategic recommendations on how to engage through social channels, providing prompt, accurate customer service to customers and providing direction to other channel coordinators on the team.
Qualifications:
- A guitar player with strong understanding of Fender Brand, Fender Products and Chinese music community;
- Bachelor’s degree, major in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred;
- 3+ years’ experience in related field with a successful and proven track record;
- Savvy with current and emerging digital tools, technologies and social platforms (Weibo, Wechat, Bilibili,Douyin, RedNote as well as international social media);
- Strong Internet sense, sophisticated copywriting skills and demonstrable creative/concept skill;
- Experiences working with campaigns within timelines and budgets.
- Comfortable working within an international organization and able to influence for positive outcomes
- Proficient in Office tools, include but not limit to Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Premier etc.
