The Role 

We’re seeking an Account Supervisor to join our team to work with our health care clients. This position plays a pivotal role in day-to-day management of client programs from start to finish, including managing tactical timelines, plans, and budgets; managing junior staff; and bringing strategic thinking to all recommendations and executional elements.  

What you’ll do 

Project Management

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills ensuring team members have clear direction, expectations and meet deadlines 
  • Develop strategic program recommendations – in email, MS Word or MS PowerPoint – from media and influencer strategies to event plans to detailed tactical plans that reside within larger programs
  • Ability to manage up and down including sharing updates and issues with senior leaders along with assigning and coaching junior team members through deliverables 
  • Responsible for supporting and managing talent growth, potentially including a direct report

Account Management

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of communications practices and tools and be committed to becoming a subject matter expert on our client’s business 
  • Act as day-to-day contact on client programs
  • Own and foster trusted relationships with select key media, influencers, and suppliers
  • Support annual strategic plan development from ideation to deck to presentation, while owning certain elements of the plan
  • Manage client budgets and support billing to ensure invoices are issued in a timely manner
  • Seek opportunities to contribute to new business pipeline through organic client growth and/or personal network mining  

 Execution 

  • Write strategic communications materials tailored to various target audiences and/or provide feedback and guidance to junior team members on their drafts
  • Proactively identify and execute traditional earned media, social media, digital and influencer opportunities 

What you’ll bring 

  • A minimum of six years working in communications / public relations; experience and/or interest in health, brand and consumer is preferred; agency experience is also preferred 
  • A degree or certification in Public Relations or Communications is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • A track record of maintaining strong and trusted client relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, while also knowing when to delegate and when to manage up
  • Strong organization skills; the ability to adapt, prioritize and lead a team from project initiation to delivery
  • Desire to grow your strategic planning and business acumen skills 
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills
  • Strong understanding of influencers and social media landscape
  • An understanding of social media, digital strategies and tools
  • Solid operating skill in Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and TEAMS

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting. For this specific role, our offer will be determined within this range based on our internal benchmark, reflecting the specific market conditions for our discipline. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.

$90,000 - $110,000
