Global Food Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Medley, Florida. This position plays an important role in supporting daily accounting operations, managing invoicing, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with inspections to support operational compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience working in SAGE accounting software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment. This role will work closely with accounting, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate reporting and smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer invoicing and billing transactions using SAGE accounting software
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry within the accounting system
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Organize and maintain financial records including invoices, receipts, and shipping documentation
  • Reconcile transactions and support account balancing activities
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
  • Monitor outstanding balances and assist with payment follow-up when necessary
  • Assist with product or operational inspections and ensure documentation is properly recorded
  • Work with warehouse and operations teams to verify information related to shipments and inventory
  • Assist with preparation of financial reports and supporting documentation
  • Provide documentation and support during internal or external audits
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes
  • Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience preferred
  • Experience using SAGE accounting software strongly preferred
  • Experience in food distribution, import/export, logistics, or warehouse operations is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures
  • Must be bilingual

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in SAGE accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
