The opportunity
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Corporate Infrastructure team as part of the wider Security organization. This role will build world-class, secure, and reliable corporate infrastructure solutions for Grammarly employees that will scale with our user base.

As a Software Engineer, Corporate Infrastructure, you will be a key player in building and enhancing the corporate services across the Grammarly team. You will improve our corporate identity and access management track and its processes to ensure that Grammarly operates securely and efficiently. As the DRI for the corporate identity and access management infrastructure, you will have the chance to learn about the latest technical solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement secure, scalable corporate infrastructure solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Build and maintain corporate identity and access management systems, with primary focus on Okta Identity Engine and access governance tools.
- Develop and optimize authentication workflows and authorization processes across our technology stack.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Infrastructure team to ensure consistent security practices across corporate and production environments.
- Automate routine IAM processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Create self-service capabilities that empower team members while maintaining appropriate security controls.
- Implement monitoring, metrics, and alerting for identity and access systems to enhance security posture.
- Develop clear technical documentation for infrastructure systems and end user processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our security practices through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for identity-related issues as needed.
- Balance security requirements with user experience to create solutions that are both secure and intuitive.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing production SaaS environments and corporate infrastructure.
- Experience with identity management systems such as Okta, Azure AD, or AWS IAM.
- Knowledge of access management principles and governance best practices.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Background in infrastructure automation or DevOps engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to security best practices and continuous improvement.
- Ability to participate in our hybrid work model with occasional in-person collaboration sessions at your regional hub.
