Clean Brands is seeking an experienced Vice President, Franchise Development for its Martinizing Cleaners brand. Clean Brands is an umbrella company that is home to the largest dry cleaning and laundry franchises in the world. 

 

The Vice President of Franchise Development’s responsibilities will include:

 

  1. Create, guide, and lead franchise development strategy and execution.
  2. Lead prospects through a complex multi-stage process educating them about the franchise opportunity for a small business.
  3. Work enthusiastically with the corporate franchise team (accounting, legal and operations).
  4. Leverage broker relationships to manage the franchise system and organization.
  5. Work with Marketing Team to develop budget and implementation plan for Development.

 

The position will evaluate and enhance existing franchise sales and marketing efforts, implement specific conversion metrics, and guide prospects through the transaction process.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following competencies and qualities:

  • A proven track record developing and implementing franchise development and recruiting high quality franchise owners.
  • Experience and a measurable track record leading the franchise sales process.
  • Experience building strong relationships with prospects and an ability to manage multiple competing projects.
  • Experience developing and maintaining a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and associated franchise agreement content including liaising with franchise outside counsel.
  • Experience with Real Estate assistance for Brick-and-Mortar businesses.
  • Experience working with lending partners to assist new Franchise Owners with lending.
  • Experience creating and managing effective marketing campaigns including the ability to identify and manage digital marketing vendors.
  • Sales skills and tools needed to build a high-performing franchise sales pipeline, including ability to design and implement sales funnels, commission plans, hiring strategies, coaching prospects, and development.
  • Ability to influence and drive change plans to meet or exceed targets.
  • Experience in a high energy, aggressive growth business development environment.
  • Skilled business judgement and ability to execute a franchise recruitment strategy.
  • Ability to work with existing Franchise Owners in Selling their business.
  • Comprehension of the FranConnect CRM system for managing Franchise Leads.

 

Vice President of Franchise Development Requirements:

 

  • Minimum three years of proven business development experience in franchising;
  • experience in a successful sales, marketing, or franchise development management position;
  • knowledge of sales and marketing, franchise recruiting strategies, and/or small businesses;
  • a proven track record and ability to build sales pipeline;
  • proven negotiation skills;
  • knowledge of the various Franchise Consulting (Broker) groups and relationships with the consultants;
  • a preference will be given to candidates able to work in an office setting in Hanover, MA, Naples, FL, or Overland Park, KS.

The pay for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 plus a competitive bonus structure. This position will be geographically located in an office setting in Hanover, MA, Naples, FL, or Overland Park, KS.
