Legal Operations Manager

Remote

GuidePoint Security provides trusted cybersecurity expertise, solutions and services that help organizations make better decisions and minimize risk. By taking a three-tiered, holistic approach for evaluating security posture and ecosystems, GuidePoint enables some of the nation’s top organizations, such as Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies, to identify threats, optimize resources and integrate best-fit solutions that mitigate risk.

We are seeking an experienced and technology-savvy Legal Operations Manager to refine and scale the operational infrastructure of the legal function at a fast-growing cybersecurity company. Reporting to our Chief Legal Officer, you will optimize the systems and contractual processes we've built to date and architect the next generation of processes needed to support rapid revenue expansion. This is a high-impact role for someone who has mastered modern legal technology and operates with an AI-first mindset.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Process Enhancement & Continuous Improvement: Assess and refine our existing legal operations processes to eliminate friction and accelerate velocity. You don't just maintain what's there – you make it better. Standardize workflows so they scale with our growth, document them so they're repeatable, and automate what shouldn't require human touch. Build on the foundation we've established to create sophisticated self-service capabilities that empower the business to move fast while managing risk appropriately.
  • AI-Driven Operations: Build workflows with AI at the center, automating what shouldn't require human attention and surfacing what does. You proactively identify opportunities to eliminate manual work and improve decision-making through intelligent automation.
  • Project Delivery: Own initiatives from start to finish. You set the timeline, you hit it, and you don't need reminders. You manage competing priorities and deliver results without requiring oversight.
  • Legal Technology Leadership: Own our legal tech stack and make it work harder. Optimize what we have, identify what's missing, and implement solutions that move us forward. Drive adoption so teams actually use the tools we've invested in—and use them well. Partner with IT and Engineering to build integrations that eliminate manual handoffs and create seamless workflows. Stay ahead of emerging legal tech trends, especially AI-powered tools, and bring forward what will give us a competitive edge. You're not just managing technology—you're using it to transform how legal operates.
  • Strategic Reporting & Analytics: Turn operational data into clear, actionable insights covering contract cycle times, and risk exposure. Leadership needs to understand what's happening—you make that easy through dashboards and reporting that tell the story.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Finance, IT, and HR to streamline legal touchpoints, eliminate friction, and deliver "Wow Them" service that exceeds internal customer expectations. Serve as strategic advisor on legal operations matters to business leaders.
  • Team Development & Mentorship: Mentor and develop one or more junior legal operations team member, providing guidance and growth opportunities. Delegate appropriate responsibilities while maintaining oversight and quality control. Foster culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years in legal operations or legal technology, preferably in a high-growth technology company
  • Deep CLM platform experience with Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Agiloft, or similar enterprise solutions (Ironclad experience strongly preferred)
  • AI-forward mindset: Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, automate workflows, and improve decision-making
  • Proven project ownership: Track record of delivering complex initiatives on time without hand-holding
  • Technical aptitude: Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and ability to partner effectively with IT and Engineering teams
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to assess current state, design future state improvements, and execute the roadmap
  • Scaling experience: Measurable results improving legal operations through growth phases
  • Bachelor's degree preferred—we care more about what you've accomplished than credentials

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 10%

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work
  • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
