JOB DESCRIPTION

Title:  Marketing Manager
Reporting To:
Director, HCP Engagement & Communication
Location:
 Remote (U.S.)
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. HCEsquared® does not sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas.

ROLE SUMMARY

Do you love turning audience insight into measurable action? Are you outcomes-driven, analytical, and a creative problem solver? Are you energized by pairing your strong marketing judgment with generative AI tools to drive impact?  Dermsquared is seeking a highly accountable, analytically sharp, and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to lead the strategic promotion of our portfolio.

ACCOUNTABILITY

In this role, you will own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for each initiative, driving healthcare provider (HCP) engagement and conversion through multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, paid media, and website/landing pages. You will analyze historical performance data to build predictive models that inform each marketing plan and apply yield management principles to determine which levers to pull to accelerate performance at any stage of the campaign. You will be the central point of accountability for campaign outcomes against the primary performance KPI, reporting weekly on progress toward targets and proactively recommending course corrections and optimizations to ensure results are on track.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for each initiative, encompassing audience segmentation, messaging strategy, channel mix, timeline, and budget allocation.
  • Define performance targets (e.g., traffic, leads, learners, completers, or registrations, depending on the initiative) in partnership with leadership and build campaign roadmaps designed to achieve or exceed those goals.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify positioning opportunities and refine promotional strategies.

Historical Analysis & Predictive Planning

  • Analyze past campaign performance data (including pacing curves, conversion rates by channel, lifecycle stage patterns, and audience demographics) to identify trends and inform marketing strategies.
  • Build predictive performance models for each initiative based on historical benchmarks, providing data-backed inputs into marketing plans including projected performance timelines and channel contribution forecasts.
  • Establish and maintain pacing benchmarking frameworks that enable comparison across initiatives and performance over time.
  • Use historical analysis to set realistic milestone targets at key campaign intervals and flag deviations early with supporting data.

Yield Management & Budget Optimization

  • Own a yield management approach to campaign performance: understand and map the full set of promotional levers available (pricing or enrollment incentives, discount or promo codes, flash promotions, content or speaker announcements, partner activations, retargeting, extended deadlines, SEO/SEM adjustments) and their historical effectiveness.
  • Develop tiered contingency playbooks that specify which levers to deploy at each stage of the campaign lifecycle, along with the incremental budget required and the expected performance lift for each tactic.
  • Model cost-per-outcome (e.g., cost-per-visit, cost-per-learner, cost-per-registration) by channel and tactic to ensure promotional spend is allocated for maximum return, reallocating budget in real time based on performance.
  • Present yield management scenarios to leadership with clear trade-offs: projected performance impact, budget implications, and margin considerations for each recommended action.

Multi-Channel Campaign Ownership

  • Own the strategy and performance across all promotional channels: email marketing, social media, paid digital advertising, website/landing page optimization, and influencer programs.
  • Brief and direct creative services, email marketing and paid media specialists on campaign deliverables, ensuring assets are on-brand, on-message, high-impact, and delivered on schedule.

Performance & Reporting

  • Serve as the single point of ownership for the initiative's primary performance KPI (e.g., website traffic, completers, registrations).
  • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports detailing progress against targets, channel performance metrics, and trend analysis.
  • Proactively identify when performance pacing falls behind target and present data-driven contingency plans with clear recommendations, timelines, and resource requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with creative services and paid media manager to produce compelling promotional assets, including digital ads, social graphics, emails, and landing pages.
  • Work closely with the email marketing specialist to optimize send strategy, list segmentation, A/B testing, and deliverability.
  • Coordinate with events, sales, and content teams to align messaging, leverage speaker announcements, and capitalize on promotional opportunities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct post-campaign marketing retrospectives, documenting key learnings, performance benchmarks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate campaign effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on performance-driven promotion (digital products, educational programs, events/conferences, or similar).
  • Demonstrated track record of owning a primary performance KPI (e.g., traffic, online program engagement, learners/completers, registrations, or lead generation) and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven expertise managing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social, paid media, and web.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building reports, interpreting performance data, and translating insights into action.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze historical campaign performance data and use findings to build predictive models or forecasts that shape future strategy.
  • Experience with yield management concepts, including understanding promotional levers, cost-per-acquisition modeling, and budget scenario planning to accelerate performance against targets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present status updates and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Experience directing creative and specialist resources to deliver campaign assets on time and on brief.

This is an opportunity to do meaningful work, grow your impact, and continue developing your expertise within a high-performing, mission-driven organization.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
