Create impact: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for turning leads into long-lasting Hive customers. You’ll build relationships with potential merchants, understand their challenges, and show them where Hive could support their business.

Onboarding: Your journey will begin in Berlin, home to Hive’s core teams, where you will spend the first-month gaining in-depth knowledge and learning directly from our experts. You’ll receive a precise and exciting onboarding experience that will set you up for success while starting to build the Dutch team. To make this experience seamless, accommodation and food will be provided.
After this immersive month, you’ll return to Amsterdam to roll up your sleeves and launch the Dutch market with full force!

Your profile

The Position
Perfect Sales Internship Based in Berlin for Fluent Dutch Speakers
Looking for an exciting 6 or 12-month internship abroad where you can gain hands-on experience in sales? At Hive, we’re offering ambitious Dutch-speaking students and recent grads the opportunity to join one of Europe’s fastest-growing tech scaleups and kickstart their career in tech sales.
As a Sales Development Representative Intern, you’ll become part of our high-performing outbound sales team. From cold calling to booking meetings with decision-makers at top ecommerce brands in the Netherlands and beyond, you’ll be learning by doing, every single day.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Cold call and connect: Be the first point of contact for Dutch-speaking prospects, sparking interest and starting meaningful sales conversations
Drive business: Book meetings with ecommerce brands and build a qualified sales pipeline for our Account Executives
Get real training: Learn sales strategies, prospecting tools, objection handling, and performance-driven outreach tactics through hands-on coaching
Work in an international team: Collaborate with a diverse group of teammates from across Europe, right in the heart of Berlin

Who we’re looking for
Fluent Dutch speaker with strong English (written and spoken)
