Job Title: Chief of Staff (Senior-Level)

Location: Hyderabad, India (Full-Time, In-Office)

Reports To: CEO (JP James)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable and trusted Chief of Staff based in Hyderabad to support the CEO in managing operations across India and the US. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for project execution, team management, and confidential coordination across a fast-scaling technology and family office ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be technically savvy, exceptionally organized, and capable of managing senior stakeholders while maintaining high discretion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO in implementing strategic initiatives and managing new reports.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of key projects; ensure timely completion of tasks across departments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources across India and the US.
  • Act as liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports including:
    • International accounting controller
    • Bookkeeper
    • Personal assistant
    • Content writer
    • Additional roles supporting complex initiatives and family office operations
  • Maintain and enforce confidentiality across personal and financial matters.
  • Develop and maintain systems to track progress, accountability, and communication.
  • Create executive-level presentations and reports.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and team building support as the organization grows.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, program management, or executive support roles.
  • Prior experience in a family office and/or tech-led organization preferred.
  • Strong understanding of technology; comfort with LLMs and modern productivity tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong project management experience, including managing distributed teams.
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English.
  • Skilled in PowerPoint and executive-level reporting.

 

Security & Trust Requirements:

  • Must be open to rigorous background verification including:
    • Police verification
    • On-site residential checks
    • Reference checks including known family or community connections
  • Proven experience handling confidential data and operating in trust-based environments.

 

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary: ₹30–50 LPA based on experience
