Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Federal Financials Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support production operations, functional troubleshooting, and end-user support across Oracle ERP P2P modules in a federal financial environment.

This role is ideal for a professional with strong Oracle Federal Financials expertise, deep knowledge of P2P business processes, and the ability to work directly with stakeholders to resolve functional issues and improve system operations.

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting Oracle P2P modules, analyzing system issues, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring reliable financial system operations for federal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional support for Oracle P2P modules, including:
    • Core Purchasing
    • iProcurement
    • Accounts Payable
    • Payment Manager
    • Supplier Management
    • Oracle Approvals Management (AME)
  • Provide functional support for Treasury systems, including:
    • Invoice Processing Platform (IPP)
    • G-Invoicing
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve P2P functional issues within a federal shared services environment.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with technical teams to resolve system issues when necessary.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close activities related to P2P processes.
  • Monitor system interfaces, workflows, and integrations related to P2P processes, including integrations with:
    • SAM.gov
    • Credit Card systems
    • Travel & Expense (T&E) – Concur Government Edition
    • Invoice Processing Platform (IPP)
  • Assist with patch validation, regression testing, and system upgrades.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on P2P processes and system functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.
  • Familiarity with PRISM is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Contract Lifecycle Management is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Federal Financials Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
  • Experience providing functional production support in an Oracle ERP environment.
  • Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and opening or managing Service Requests through My Oracle Support.
  • Knowledge of Oracle workflows, approval hierarchies, and supplier setups.
  • Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience.

This position supports a federal contract and requires:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency with a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. residency
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and FBI fingerprinting
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential
  • Compliance with Bureau of the Fiscal Service security rules of behavior
  • Completion of required cybersecurity and privacy awareness training
  • All work must be performed within the United States (remote access from foreign locations is not permitted)
