Public Relations Intern

• Title: Summer PR Intern
• Location: Remote (LA or NY preferred)
• Duration: May – August 2025
• Time Commitment: Up to 30 hours/week
• Compensation: Unpaid; school credit available

About the Role

As a PR Intern, you’ll support the Communications team on a range of public relations initiatives—from product launches to media outreach to brand awareness campaigns. You’ll gain real-world experience in the fast-paced beauty industry while helping shape the voice and visibility of a growing brand.

What You’ll Do

• Update and maintain media lists
• Draft editor pitches and outreach materials
• Research relevant press contacts and coverage trends
• Help coordinate product send-outs
• Monitor online and print media for brand mentions
• Track and compile press coverage
• Support events and activations
• Participate in weekly team meetings and brainstorms
• Keep a pulse on social media and beauty industry trends

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for the beauty industry, media, and current trends
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Experience with Google Workspace; PR tools like Muck Rack or Launchmetrics a plus
• Previous PR, marketing, journalism, or communications experience preferred
