Integration Engineer

We are looking for an Integration Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. This person will work with product owners to advance technical projects that include API integration development, third-party platform connectivity, workflow automation, troubleshooting, and implementation. You will need to leverage your professional experience and deep understanding of integration technologies and data transformation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and implementing integrations between our platform and third-party applications
  • Designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes with a focus on reusability and scalability
  • Creating robust data transformation workflows between our platform and various data sources
  • Troubleshooting data quality issues and creating resolution plans for complex technical problems
  • Working with engineering and product teams to ensure we're building integrations that scale and are maintainable
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for all integration touchpoints and data flows
  • Crafting code that is elegant, scalable, and meets the needs of our users
  • Implementing robust error handling, logging, and monitoring for integration points
  • Meeting technical issues head on, troubleshooting, and quickly creating resolution plans
  • Writing tests to ensure stability of integrations as they evolve over time
  • Evaluating new integration opportunities and recommending process improvements
  • Conducting regular code audits to find areas of improvement and ensure excellence

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional development experience with system integrations and APIs
  • Strong SQL, Data transformation and ETL knowledge
  • We're a team of polyglot engineers committed to using the best tool for each job. You should be proficient in at least one of the following languages, but open to learning new ones as needed – JavaScript/Typescript, Python, Go and other modern programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and implementation
  • Experience with webhook implementations and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation, and synchronization between disparate systems
  • Understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, JWT)
  • Solid testing and quality assurance practices for integration reliability
  • Ability to facilitate a task's entire lifecycle going from requirements to deployment
  • Exceptional collaboration, organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to a quickly changing environment
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with integration platforms (iPaaS) such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or Zapier
  • Background in enterprise integrations across CRM, ERP, marketing automation and other systems
  • Experience creating technical documentation for both internal and external users
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and concepts
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration deployment
  • Understanding of data security and privacy considerations in integration development

The base salary range for this position is [$110,000-$130,000]. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer generous equity and benefits packages.
