Job Overview:

The Director of Enterprise Architecture will lead the digital transformation, innovation, and technology modernization strategies for our LG Electronics North America region. This role is pivotal in developing and executing enterprise-wide architectural frameworks to drive scalability, efficiency, and digital innovation. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to align business goals with cutting-edge technology solutions, enhancing customer experience and operational effectiveness across various touchpoints such as web, mobile, IoT, and smart TVs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Architecture Strategy: Develop, maintain, and continuously evolve the enterprise architecture vision and strategy to support the company’s digital transformation and business objectives.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation efforts across the organization by modernizing legacy systems, integrating advanced technologies, and optimizing the use of cloud platforms and automation tools.
  • Innovation & Emerging Technology: Spearhead initiatives focused on exploring, evaluating, and implementing innovative technologies (AI/ML, etc.) to improve customer engagement, supply chain efficiency, and product/content management processes.
  • Consumer Experience: Oversee the design and implementation of customer-facing solutions (web, mobile, and connected smart devices) ensuring seamless integration and superior user experiences across all digital channels.
  • Commerce Experience: Experience in architecting enterprise solutions, including hands-on development experience with commerce engines such as Magento
  • Cloud Strategy: Architect and guide the organization’s cloud adoption journey, ensuring effective governance, scalability, and security of cloud-based infrastructures.
  • MarTech: Understand and formulate over-arching digital architecture inclusive of MarTech ecosystem
  • Integration and Scalability: Design and implement systems and frameworks that allow seamless integration of various platforms (ERP, SCM, CRM, CDP, etc.), ensuring scalability and flexibility to meet evolving business demands.
  • Solution Architecture Management: Lead and manage a team of Solution Architects to develop and implement robust solutions that align with enterprise architecture, ensuring consistency, scalability, and security across all systems.
  • DevOps Leadership: Oversee and manage the DevOps teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) to deliver high-quality software solutions faster and more efficiently. Ensure seamless coordination between development and operations for improved system stability and faster time-to-market.
  • Governance and Compliance: Establish architecture governance frameworks to ensure that all IT and digital projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., PCI, PII etc).
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead teams of enterprise architects, solution architects, and DevOps professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and consultants to ensure successful delivery of architectural and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in B2B/B2C enterprise architecture, digital transformation, or related technology leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing Solution Architects and DevOps teams, delivering complex technology solutions across digital and operational platforms.
  • Expertise in modern enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) and methodologies.
  • Deep experience with cloud-native/headless architectures (AWS, Google Cloud), microservices, APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with MarTech teams to integrate enterprise architecture solutions
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in aligning IT architecture with business strategy, delivering ROI, and creating a competitive advantage through technology innovation.
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI, ML, IoT, etc.) and their application in eCommerce, supply chain, and customer experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PIM, DAM, CMS, CDNs

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with consumer experience design and multi-channel digital customer journey mapping.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

 

Compensation: In addition to the base salary range listed below, this role also includes a performance-based incentive bonus plan.

 

 

 

 

 

Recruiting Range

$163,000 - $209,000 USD
