Senior Strategist (Geo-flexible)

About the Opportunity:
LINK is looking for a Senior Strategist with a strong background in Communications or Public Affairs to join our dynamic team. Working under the direction of the VP of Strategy, you will interface directly with clients to understand their unique challenges, provide consultative strategies and executive-level solutions, distill narratives from client-provided content, and collaborate with the creative team to execute visual products that align with the client’s brand, industry, and culture.
In this role, you will work with colleagues across the organization to uncover meaningful insights, build game-changing strategies, and deliver tailored solutions. Your expertise in Strategic Communications will play a pivotal role in driving LINK's business growth and delivering high-quality, client-focused outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working directly with clients, extracting key insights, and leading collaborative initiatives to achieve impactful results. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic communication, public affairs, or a similar role
- Top Secret or Secret Clearance preferred
- Strong creative design and execution skills to achieve customer objectives through design
- Ability to build and maintain robust client relationships and foster positive interpersonal connections
- Interest in visual storytelling, including data visualization and conceptualizing abstract ideas
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear, approachable, and knowledgeable manner
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their challenges and the respective solution, then co-create effective products to convey it all to the appropriate audience
- In partnership with the VP of Strategy, elevate content artifacts and demonstrate thought leadership to the team around quality standards and deliverables from a content lens
- Translate ideas into compelling campaigns, solutions, stories
- Capture client requirements, missions, visions, goals, and KPIs/OKRs
- Help design and develop effective meetings and workshops to co-create solutions with clients and gather content
- Identify content, hierarchies, and visual concepts for visual storytelling products to include the creation of content maps and wireframes
- Work with the design team to develop infographics, charts, diagrams, presentations, and other visual products to convey both quantitative data and abstract concepts for use in print and digital formats
- Apply human-centered design and design thinking principles to technically complex problem sets
- Perform primary and secondary research with a high level of journalistic standards
- Work iteratively by proactively asking for feedback from internal partners and clients to incrementally improve solutions
- Define opportunities to create tangible business value for the client by leading current state assessments and identifying high level customer requirements
- Manage multiple projects with internal project teams; work to organize assignments and track progress from both a financial and a deliverable standpoint
- Manage multiple projects with external stakeholders, and navigate new requests into new business opportunities
- Manage project deadlines and workloads
- Develop and maintain client relationships
Work Schedule:
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- Some travel required to attend relevant events and conferences, and participate in LINK team events
Salary
We're committed to offering competitive compensation. While the salary range for this position is [$112,000-$150,000], your final offer may be adjusted based on factors like experience and location.
