POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and developing new client relationships for LYT Growth Partners. The role will focus on bringing on new B2B clients and optimizing sales strategies for the marketing services offered by LYT. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth by connecting LYT's unique marketing solutions with clients in need of high-quality lead generation, brand enhancement, and digital marketing expertise.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OUTCOMES

  • Source and qualify new business leads
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Expand existing client relationships where applicable
  • Drive the company's sales pipeline through proactive engagement and follow-up

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and/or participate in sales presentations and pitches
  • Occasional (monthly/bi-monthly) national travel to meet new and existing clients.
  • Conduct research on potential clients, industry trends, and market opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales materials including presentations, proposals, and client case studies.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track outreach and follow-up processes
  • Drive new business development to expand LYT Growth Partners' client base
  • Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Contribute to developing and refining the company’s overall sales strategy
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate LYT's value proposition to clients
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years experience in B2B sales with prior experience in a marketing agency strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services and their value to businesses
  • Ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism and commitment to ethical business practices
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • EST availability preferred 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Includes both a typical office or home-based office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and occasional local and/or overnight travel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
