📣 A bit about the role:
As the Senior Brand Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the identity of our brand. We're on the lookout for a creative, highly motivated, results-oriented Senior Brand Marketing Lead to help define and drive forward the Marro brand. You’ll take ownership of growing the Marro brand sustainably and efficiently, ensuring impactful execution across all brand marketing initiatives.
Brand Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute brand marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Own and manage the brand planning calendar, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Identify new channels and initiatives to drive brand-led growth.
- Scope and develop partnerships with brands, organisations, and talent to amplify our reach.
Performance & Measurement
- Run targeted regional or channel-specific tests to optimise brand impact.
- Set up and manage reporting frameworks, analysing brand health and campaign performance.
- Use insights to inform future brand strategies and refine marketing efforts.
Brand Guardianship
- Ensure all marketing efforts align with brand guidelines and identity.
- Review and provide feedback on creative assets from internal and external teams.
- Develop messaging guidelines for partners to ensure consistent brand representation.
Budget & Partnerships Management
- Track and manage brand budgets, ensuring investments align with strategic goals.
- Act as the lead contact for agencies and partners, negotiating terms and managing costs.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a team of designers, copywriters, and creatives across multiple projects.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure high-quality execution across all creative outputs.
- Inspire, motivate, and mentor your team, supporting their professional growth.
- Review content, provide clear feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor team performance and propose strategic actions for future success.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with the wider team of passionate cat lovers to drive brand growth.
- Foster relationships with the dog squad, collaborating on growth strategies.
- Continually evolve the role and take on increasing responsibility as the brand expands.
👋A bit about you:
- Experience in building compelling brand plans using customer and market insight
- Proven brand strategy skills, with the ability to define key focus areas across the brand funnel and develop a cohesive plan
- Adept at executing campaigns with direct experience buying media for multiple channels
- A strong understanding of brand measurement principles, techniques, and KPIs
- Experience in managing all or part of a brand budget
- An eye for impactful design & copywriting and the ability to feedback on creative work
- Very strong communication skills and relationship-building with internal & external teams
- You're a cat lover who understands the special bond between humans and their feline family members and can build a brand that tugs at the heartstrings of our audience.

📢 Our interview process:
- Application review
- Initial call (45 minutes): Introductory chat with our Recruiter.
- Technical interview (60 minutes): Remote interview where you’ll be asked a number of scenario and competency based questions.
- Take home task: This will be sent to you via email and will be used to understand more about your technical skills.
- Final interviews (1 hour 30 mins) : In-person interviews in our office in White City. Part 1) You’ll be asked to run through your task and discuss practical examples from your experience. Part 2) You’ll get a chance to meet your peers.
ℹ️ Logistics:
- This team works 3 days per week from our West London office (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days from home. This is non negotiable, so please only apply if you’re within a reasonable commute of London.
