MBA Intern – Strategy & Operations Team (Summer 2025)

The Opportunity 

Momentum is looking for a dynamic and growth-minded MBA Intern to join our Strategy & Operations team for Summer 2025. As part of our team, you'll support high-impact initiatives across Momentum’s portfolio of companies, working alongside experienced leaders to drive meaningful change and operational excellence. You’ll get hands-on experience in strategic project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving—while making a tangible impact and learning what it takes to scale and transform businesses in the digital economy.

About This Role at Momentum

As an MBA Intern on our Strategy & Operations team, you'll gain real-world exposure to the work of internal consulting, transformation, and operational excellence. Your summer could include:

  • Supporting strategic initiatives by helping create roadmaps, set milestones, and prepare workstreams for execution.
  • Assisting with project management: tracking deliverables, managing timelines, and surfacing risks or blockers.
  • Conducting research, data analysis, and competitive benchmarking to support business decisions and strategy development.
  • Participating in team stand-ups and stakeholder meetings to stay aligned and contribute to evolving priorities. 
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to improve processes, drive operational clarity, or pilot new approaches.
  • Developing presentations and insights for internal stakeholders or leadership audiences.
  • Learning the ins and outs of our business model, transformation initiatives, and how we empower our portfolio of companies.
  • Taking ownership of an intern capstone project, which you’ll present to members of our leadership team at the end of the internship.

 

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

  • is currently pursuing an MBA (graduating December 2025 or Spring 2026), with a concentration in Strategy, Operations, Project Management, or General Management.
  • 3+ years of pre-MBA professional experience in Finance, Program Management, Business Operations, Analytics, Strategy Consulting, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to contribute to multiple, complex projects and think strategically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across various levels.
  • A growth mindset, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Passionate about innovation, scaling businesses, and making a meaningful impact during your internship.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with digital commerce, SaaS business models, or experience working in high-growth or entrepreneurial settings.

The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions. The People & Culture team will provide specific details during the hiring process.
