At MyForest Foods, we grow and harvest mycelium in vertical farms, creating large structures that mimic whole cuts of meat in just 12 days. We then slice and season these meaty “cuts” to perfection using a traditional brine recipe. Our flagship product, MyBacon®, is just the beginning of our mycelium-based meatless alternatives.

Due to the DELICIOUS nature of MyBacon, demand is skyrocketing, and our business is expanding rapidly. With national-scale production on the horizon, we're offering exciting career opportunities, including the Farm Production Operator role.

What You'll Do:

  • Adhere to Standards: Follow strict standard operating procedures to maintain top-notch quality and safety metrics.
  • Operate & Clean: Set up, operate, and clean large-scale equipment with precision and care.
  • Food Safe Practices: Handle materials and equipment using safe food handling practices.
  • Flexible & Responsive: Adapt to daily or hourly changes in the production process as we scale up.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to meet daily and weekly goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and ask thoughtful questions to enhance our processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma preferred. Experience in hands-on environments like landscaping, janitorial, or clean-room work, research environments *HIGHLY DESIRED (Operation of experimental and early-stage production equipment)  (using PPE is a plus)
  • Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills with Google Platform and Apps (email, calendar, sheets, docs, forms)
  • Physical Ability: Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted and performing repetitive manual labor
  • Commitment: Ability to adhere to strict timelines and adjust work hours as needed (core business hours Mon-Fri 7a-4:30p) First Shift
  • Positive Attitude: Create a positive work environment and demonstrate commitment to MyForest Foods values of growth, taste, community, innovation, and trust
