What We Are Looking For:
As a Backend Infrastructure Engineer you possess a strong foundation in backend development, particularly with Golang, and experience in developing scalable APIs and services. You will be a key player in enhancing our backend architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- API Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Golang, ensuring high performance and low latency.
- System Architecture: Collaborate with the engineering team to refine and enhance the overall system architecture, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Database Management: Implement and optimize database designs, ensuring efficient data management and access patterns.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Quickly identify and resolve backend issues, proactively monitoring system performance and health.
- Feature Development: Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, creating seamless user experiences.
- Code Reviews & Best Practices: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Testing & Validation: Implement rigorous testing protocols, including unit and integration tests, to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend systems, APIs, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying insights to improve processes and systems.
Who You are:
- Experienced Backend Developer: 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Golang and microservices architecture.
- Proficient in Databases: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, with a solid understanding of data modeling and query optimization.
- Familiar with DevOps: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) to ensure efficient deployment and scaling.
- Strong Problem Solver: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think critically about complex technical challenges.
- Collaborative Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to communication, working effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to quality, with a focus on developing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Passionate About Innovation: A curious mindset with a keen interest in exploring new technologies and trends in backend development.
