Fellow, Digital Programs

United States - Remote

Power to Decide is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. At Power to Decide, we envision a world where everyone—no matter who they are or where they live—has control over their bodies and can decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child. Our mission is to advance sexual and reproductive well-being for all. We accomplish this by providing trusted information, expanding access to quality services, and catalyzing culture change.

We meet our mission largely through a robust suite of digital products. Our tools support millions of users annually, and we’re investing in smarter, more sustainable technology infrastructure to ensure we continue to deliver high-quality, accessible, and equitable digital experiences.

Power to Decide is hiring two Digital Fellows (Fellow, Digital Programs). These one-year, full-time roles will support the expansion and upkeep of the service finders on Bedsider and AbortionFinder.org. The Fellows will be responsible for collecting and maintaining data in our clinic finder database, including researching and tracking clinics that provide birth control and/or abortion care.

Ideal candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging with others - whether that means building relationships with partners, making phone calls, or entering data accurately and on time.

The Fellows report to the Senior Data Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Verify the accuracy of clinic and clinic network information in the database.
  • Research, contact, and add new clinics through online research and virtual outreach (primarily phone calls and emails).
  • Enter data clearly and correctly, following detailed internal protocols and formatting standards.
  • Maintain database quality by ensuring all clinics meet inclusion standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep data accurate and up to date, especially in response to changes in laws or policies.
  • Support day-to-day team operations and broader project needs as they arise.
  • Use platforms such as Airtable, Google Sheets, and Monday.com to track and manage data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about supporting access to reproductive health care and thrives in a detail-heavy, information-driven role. The ideal candidate is curious, resourceful, and comfortable doing focused work like data entry and research. They should genuinely enjoy talking to people on the phone to gather accurate information and build relationships. This role is a great fit for someone who likes working behind the scenes to make sure information is accurate, timely, and useful, and who brings a collaborative spirit and strong communication skills to the team.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Google Workspace (including Sheets and Docs) for tracking, organizing, and communicating information efficiently.
  • Ability to follow through, meet deadlines, be highly responsive, and organized.
  • A self-starter who can solve problems creatively, work well in a team setting as well as independently, and pay meticulous attention to details.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Applicants must be based in the United States.

Salary and Benefits

The Fellow, Digital Programs is a 40-hour a week, non-exempt position. The salary is $26 an hour.

The Fellows are full time, grant funded positions and are eligible for an excellent benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 403b, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, and generous leave including PTO, DC Sick Leave benefits, summer hours, a floating holiday, and paid holidays.
