Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.

Summary:

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Manager to join our team, focusing on our expanding Denim business in Southeast Asia. This role involves managing vendor relationships, enhancing operational execution, and supporting the rapid growth of our denim offerings. The Sourcing Manager will work closely with the existing team to develop scalable vendor strategies, improve cost efficiency, and ensure quality and timely delivery across our complex product categories.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management & Development: Manage and deepen relationships with current denim suppliers across Southeast Asia and support the evaluation and onboarding of new partners in alignment with Quince's standards.
  • Operational Execution: Drive improvements in cost, lead time, and production reliability with current factories and troubleshoot production issues proactively.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Planning, Design, Tech Design, and Logistics teams to meet timelines and margin targets and facilitate communication between internal teams and suppliers.
  • Category Support: Manage specific product lines within the Denim portfolio and monitor SKU and vendor performance to recommend adjustments.
  • Quality & Compliance: Partner with QA to uphold high quality standards and ensure responsible sourcing practices and compliance with ethical and safety standards.

Required Skills:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, or production roles, particularly in Denim.
  • Proven track record of managing vendors in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
  • Solid understanding of Denim product development and sourcing process.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, troubleshoot issues, and improve supplier performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English; other regional languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel to vendor sites across the region as needed.

We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. Bonus eligibility varies by role and is determined based on the position’s impact and contribution to our strategic goals.

Pay Range

$1 - $2 USD
