As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting RDC Next, you will play a critical role in building the financial foundation for this emerging business, partnering directly with senior leaders to guide strategy, assess investment opportunities, and drive operational excellence. The RDC Next team is charged with building and delivering innovative solutions across the real estate ecosystem that deepen relationships with industry players, consumers, and brokers/agents. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments, is excited to work with ambiguity, and can balance strategic thinking with strong attention to detail. You’ll have the opportunity to build from the ground up—developing scalable financial processes, creating forward-looking models, and influencing decisions that will define the trajectory of RDC Next. What You’ll Do:

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the development of budgets and forecasts, incorporating historical performance, market trends, and forward-looking scenarios.
  • Ensure planning processes are agile, accurate, and aligned with segment and company-level objectives.
  • Support long-range planning efforts aligned with the overall company’s strategic objectives and long-term vision.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver timely, insightful reporting on financial results.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Define and track overall KPIs.

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to leadership, supporting strategy development and operational execution.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and business cases, providing scenario analysis and clear recommendations.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Financial Modeling & Risk Management

  • Build dynamic financial models to assess growth initiatives, capital investments, and market changes.
  • Provide frameworks to evaluate risks and returns, ensuring disciplined decision-making.

Process Improvement & Scale

  • Establish scalable FP&A processes and tools.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and improve forecasting precision.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally with exposure to new business lines, innovation hubs, or high-growth segments.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with the ability to distill insights from ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, SAP, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to influence and align cross-functional leaders with clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture strategic thinking.
  • Experience with investment analysis, resource allocation, and/or scenario planning.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced corporate or start-up environments preferred.
  • Exposure to evaluating strategic initiatives such as partnerships, new ventures, or M&A preferred.

 

How We Work:

We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration and flexibility. For this role, one can work three days per week of their choice in our Austin, TX office and the remaining two days from home.
