Re:Build Fikst, LLC (Fikst), a Re:Build Manufacturing, LLC (Re:Build) company is a growing product design and engineering consulting firm located in Woburn, MA. We work with pioneering clients to develop their technology, design their products, and bring those products to production. Fikst's areas of expertise include biomedical instruments and consumables, microfluidics, specialty plastic design, optics, industrial automation, and design for manufacturing. We have extensive in-house laboratory and rapid prototyping capability including CNCs, 3D printers and laser cutters, all of which helps facilitate our ability to prototype and innovate fast.

What You'll Get to Do
We’re hiring mechanical engineers who are excited for the variety and challenge of product development. In this role you will exercise your mechanical design experience in an energetic and progressive consulting environment. You’ll join a group of hard-working engineers to develop new technologies and bring new products to market. You will further your experience developing designs, building and testing prototypes, and using the knowledge gained through testing to refine and improve on previous designs. You will be immersed in Fikst’s hands-on culture of experimentation and building, using our full CNC machining and turning centers, array of 3D-printers and laser cutters, and a huge arsenal of scientific and engineering equipment. You will do all of this in lively collaboration with your fellow engineers and our clients.
What You Bring to the Team
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience
- Broad technical background and the desire to learn more
- 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with a range of manufacturing processes is a plus (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.)
- Experience designing robotic systems or industrial automation a plus
